About

Hi, I’m Mike — husband, dad, fundraiser, storyteller, and self-proclaimed champion of colorful shoes and socks. I live in Okeene, Oklahoma, with my wife, Amy (also known as Sugar Booger), and our two sons, Lincoln and Andrew. We love small-town life, laughter, and the occasional adventure — especially the kind that ends with pie.

By day, I serve as Executive Vice President for Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, where I help lead fundraising and special projects that share the love of Christ with children and families. By night, I’m a writer, thinker, and chronic over-sharer of stories that are sometimes profound, often ridiculous, and always real.

This blog — I Know Mike Williams — is my space to do what I’ve always loved: tell stories, make people laugh, and remind all of us that life, faith, and family are worth celebrating. You’ll find a mix of humor, reflection, and a few “did that really happen?” moments from my everyday life.

If you’re here for encouragement, laughter, or just to find out what kind of socks I’m wearing — welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Until next time, keep knowing Mike Williams.
